Geena Davis
Geena Davies is an American actress and producer. She is also writing, a feminist rights advocate, and woman's rights activist. Her work has received praise for all her television roles, including her many parts in Hollywood. She was also a model before becoming an actress. Since the age of a child, her fascination for music has led her to studying piano and the flautist. She was an organist in an old church in Wareham. Her professional career started in New York City when she was a graduate of Boston University's Drama program. After many struggles in the beginning, she was eventually working odd jobs, and working on other activities before she finally got her breakthrough. Before making her acting debut in the film Tootsie and the gang, she had been well-known as a model. Her appearances in television serials, and had an immensely successful career as an actor. In fact she was awarded an Oscar Award with her film The Accidental Tourist. In addition, she won the Golden Globe Award' for the role she played in a television drama. Two sons are hers, and one daughter in her union with Reza Jarrahy. She has been involved in many different public causes.
