Samantha Mohr

Mohr was a UGA student and entered her first pageant after being offered by a friend. Mohr was crowned Miss Columbus 1985. Mohr became eligible to participate in her first Miss Georgia pageant, which took place June 1985. Mohr took home crowning Miss Georgia in 1985, on Saturday 22nd June, 1985. Mohr took home more than $3500 worth of scholarships, as well as prizes at the national pageant. As Miss Georgia, her activities Georgia included appearances in public places throughout Georgia. Mohr was Georgia's representative. attended Miss America 1986, Atlantic City, New Jersey in September 1985. Mohr had a odds of 22-to-one for winning the Miss America title. Computer modelling proved to be successful in forecasting Susan Akin's victory. Mohr did not make it to the top 10 finalist list for the crown of Miss America.
